I just got this TV two days ago. As soon as I started watching I saw that the darks in the corners and along the sides were not nearly as dark as the darks in the center of the picture. It's as if there's a gremlin in each corner shining a flashlight towards the center. I called Samsung Customer Service and they told me this problem is caused when the styrofoam packaging is too tight during shipping, and that it should go away in 2-3 weeks. If not I should call back and they will send a tech out to look at it. The service rep also mentioned that this is covered under warranty if it doesn't go away.
