I have the Slim now since a few days and am completely satisfied. In addition to the Slim, I have a Japanese 20GB version here at home, and I think I can draw good comparisons. The processing of the new is very good, I'd say even better than my old fat lady! The operating noise, however, are only marginally quieter as its predecessors, I personally think it's just the "sound" that has changed. Lovely is the need to slim up less space, draws less power and has an adequate 120GB hard drive. What worried me at first were the cheap-looking buttons () on photos, but in kind, even see them really well made, they shine silver light.
Your pressure point is also very pleasant and generally they make a trivalent impression! When the device is switched on, and the Power and Eject button lights, resulting in a darkened room really good looks. In addition to downloading songs and BluRay games I've also tried the same BluRay movie function with the BR of "Home". The PS3 Consoles Slim reads the disc as a lot faster then my former high-end standalone BR player (BDP-51FD), whether the picture is excellent, I can see no difference! All in all an excellent device. For 299th - you get offered a lot, games, BR & DVD movies, photos, music, online connectivity, PSone and so on. The old PS3 Consoles owners can safely access the new slim, they will not regret it! Schick, "small", relatively quiet, very well made. Top!
PS3 Consoles - I'm Very Satisfied
have just taken the PS3 Consoles Slim in operation. I like it very well - built directly my 320 GB disk, formatted, and then the backup restore work - everything works just fine. The new lens also has its charm - and sometimes quite honestly - I am building my technical equipment is no shrine to have them perfectly in scene. I also think she has a very compact and clear and I no longer have the problem that scratched the piano at the slightest touch, or is full of fat fingers.
As for me totally convinced, is the low noise and low power consumption. Moreover, I mean that the Blu-ray drive reads faster than my "old" PS3 Consoles movies and reproduces.
The lighting of the two front buttons are not as intrusive, is great when watching movies in complete darkness.
